This topic contains common error messages while using webservices to do updates on the datastore

Error message: data at root level is invalid. line 1, position 1

The error message above is most probably caused by incorrect column names. Check and double check (also check for spaces behind column names) if the field names used in the datastore definition, are exactly the same as the fields defined in the web service.
